It is again a matter of major holidays, as the mercury rises, the mind tends to escape the sun ... We would like to share with you some destinations that have attracted particular attention. Each is ideal for the summer, combining sun, nature and culture.

1. Cape Verde

Cape Verde
Certain coasts of the archipelago were quite concrete, but others remain surprisingly pristine. Cape Verde has always been a crossroads of different cultures. Its residents have African roots, Portuguese, Mediterranean and Latin America. A large patch that forms a fascinating mosaic of contrasts . Contrast, there is also between arid and lunar locations, lush vegetation and sun-drenched sandy beaches. The balance is perfect between nature, nightlife and water sports.
When to go: all year! With the semi-arid tropical climate of the archipelago. Although it rains a little bit more between August and October, but it is next to nothing. The islands of Sal, Boavista and Maio are particularly dry.

2. Bosnia

Bosnia
Wild and beautiful green mountains in the North, Mediterranean and arid south, sumptuous and well valleys course the capital, Sarajevo. Tourists love the old Ottoman town , with its low houses and stalls of textiles and crafts of all kinds (provided they are cut in shells or shrapnel). Do not hesitate to venture a little walk in the neighborhoods on the hillsides surrounding the city and stop to enjoy a Turkish coffee. It is hard ... but it's good ... but it's hard!
When to go: April to October, very sunny, often hot. But winter also his charm, when the city and the mountains are covered with snow.

Landscapes of Galicia have more to do with Brittany and more with Southern Ireland with the rest of Spain and "picture caliente "that one's self. The ocean marked the character of the area and its inhabitants. You'll find wild beaches, rugged cliffs and hinterland national parks with rich fauna and flora. The food is delicious. You can not not taste the Galician octopus or rather "  polbo a feira  "or to the" Tarta de Santiago ", the pie Saint-Jacques de Compostela so popular with pilgrims.
When to go: the period from June to August is the hottest, driest, but also, as the area is quite watered the rest of the year.

6. Iran

Iran
This is not a popular summer destination, at least not a beach destination for Europeans. But if it is the culture and history that motivate you, then Iran will offer a unique journey, as long as your visit does not remain superficial. Among its wonders not to be missed: Persepolis, Isfahan, Shiraz and Tehran . Another aspect of this great country: its mountain ranges that attract both trekkers (the Zagros Mountains, Elbrus ...).
When to go: between May and October, ideally in June or September.

7. Iceland

Iceland
Iceland has for some years a very popular among European tourists (who can now enjoy low-cost connections), but also from around the world travel. The key to this success? Its natural beauty combined with a magical world, as well as New Zealand and Tierra del Fuego, for example. Snowy peaks, glaciers, hot springs, geysers and volcanoes do not leave indifferent the traveler looking for disorientation. The weather is awful on the island most of the year and this contributes to its charm. The few "windows" are in summer weather, say from June to September. Rent a car (preferably a 4x4) to go around the island freely.
